About

ACC Physiotherapy based in Highworth (Wiltshire), offers Human and Veterinary Physiotherapy services in and around the Cotswolds. It is owned and run by Andrea Carnero Charles.

I qualified as a Human Physiotherapist in 2019 from the University of the West of England, with first class honours. In 2023 I achieved my Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Hartpury University, allowing me to offer physiotherapy services for both human and animal clients.

Whilst completing my human physiotherapy qualification I worked as a rehab assistant on the acute wards at Great Western Hospital (GWH). Since graduating I completed my rotations gaining experience in orthopaedics, elderly and general rehabilitation, and complex discharge planning.

From 2020, I  worked part-time within the stroke & complex rehabilitation team at the Swindon Intermediate Care Centre, GWH. Alongside this, I worked providing private physiotherapy services as part of the team at Highworth Physiotherapy Clinic, gaining experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

I now provide Human Physiotherapy services at a clinic room in The Halo (Highworth), The Faringdon Wellbeing Clinic (Faringdon) and  I provide home visits for elderly and less mobile clients so you can be seen in the comfort of your own home. Furthermore, I am part of a group of physiotherapists who offer hydrotherapy sessions to the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society Swindon group (NASS)

The rest of the time I'm off treating horses and dogs. As I am both a member of ACPAT and RAMP you can be assured a gold-standard service for your animal companions. I work both under ACC Physiotherapy and as part of the team at Everlasting Physiotherapy

In my spare time I enjoy riding and competing my two horses, spending time with my dog and my family and volunteering for the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).
